Me in labor. If you’ve read the birth story posted below, you know that my labor was being induced for 3 days, and that 2 days after he was finally here, he had to be transferred to the NICU at Dayton Children’s Hospital.

Noah in the NICU. He had an IV, a tube down his nose, and monitors stuck to his chest, but of course was still the most beautiful baby in the world.

This baby is the light of my world. He makes all the hard work worth it. The labor, the pain, the delivery, the worry, the anxiety, the gut-wrenching days when I thought the world was going to end! The innocent life in his eyes makes it all so worthwhile. I can’t explain it and yet, if you are a mother, I don’t have to explain.
