Nate and I are blessed to be so close to our families. We have a lot of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, and we are all so different, yet we share the same blood. It is amazing to see all the differences in these photographs of Nate’s side of the family and to know that whatever differences there are, we are still family.

Mom and Dad, the reason we’re all here. I have a less grumpy picture of Dad, but this one is just real. Deal with it

The beautiful Amy and Stephen, and their daughter, Emiliana. We miss you so much! Please move back to Ohio

Andrea with her children: Alexis, Kaitlyn and Tyler.

The expectant parents Nicholas and Kristin, with Gabriel on the way! I can’t wait to take his picture!

Emiliana with her Daddy.

Noah with his Daddy.

The boys: Tyler and Noah.
And a couple more of Kaitlyn…

This picture has a bit of a story to it. My mother-in-law wanted a picture of all five of her grandchildren together. After throwing them all on the couch and snapping 27 pictures of them before they could run away, this is the best one I got. At least none of the babies are crying. And Tyler is smiling. For some reason Alexis thinks she has to hold Noah’s face to make him face the camera, and the picture is a little blurry. But about twenty seconds after this picture was taken, Emiliana started crying and trying to run away from the couch, Noah was blowing bubbles all over himself, and Tyler refused to smile anymore. So this picture is pretty much a miracle.
One big, happy family!! This group shot was taken by Kristin. Hooray for tripod and timer! I edited the shot, and this is our collaboration:

From left to right: (Top) Stephen, Nathan, Mom, Dad, Nicholas, Andrea with Kaitlyn
(Bottom) Amy with Emiliana, Me with Noah, Kristin with Gabriel in her belly, Alexis and Tyler
We had a lot of fun doing this, even though it was a lot of effort. Hopefully the effort was worth it. I certainly learned from the experience, and I love the photos!
