This family is so happy and fun, and these kids have SO much energy! I loved the light shining through the trees. What a beautiful spring day for a family session! These images were shot on “Earth Day,” and their little girl really liked that tree. I giggled when she kissed the tree, and I’m glad I caught a picture of it!
These kids just keep growing up, as little ones do. It’s been a year since I photographed this family, and our 2012 fall session was a little tougher… We shot this session on November 11th, and I was very, very pregnant with Claire. It was also getting a bit chilly as the sun went down, but the kids were having so much fun being outside, and the light was so beautiful. I just love sunset photo sessions.
After rescheduling this session a gazillion times due to rain, we were finally able to shoot in early November. It was a bit chilly (and I was 39 weeks pregnant – huge!), but we got it done and the weather that night was perfect for a fall family session!
One-year-old boys are so much fun! They love to run and explore everything. This little boy was such a sweetheart, and it was obvious his family loves him to the moon and back!

I can’t believe this big guy is one year old already! I can remember his newborn session and his six month session like they were yesterday! He is just getting sweeter with each passing month. Look at those big brown eyes and that curly hair. Isn’t he just the cutest thing?
We started in his bedroom and then headed out to the park. I love a simple white onesie on a baby boy.

Right before Christmas, I got to photograph this fun family pajama session. I had so much fun shooting with a wide angle lens and letting the kids just be goofy!
