Yesterday I took my two boys out in the evening sunlight, and I wanted to capture some pictures of them playing and laughing together. I can’t believe how fast they are growing up. Here they are playing chase, hugging, tickling, laughing, and filling my heart right up to the very tip top.

Right before Christmas, I got to photograph this fun family pajama session. I had so much fun shooting with a wide angle lens and letting the kids just be goofy!

It rained on and off all morning on the day of my session with this family of four, but I am so glad we decided to risk getting wet and go out anyway. The light that afternoon was gorgeous, and we had a lot of fun playing and tickling and laughing. I love how much they love each other, and you can see it in these images. The love, the laughter and the light combined to make this magical family session.

This little guy is almost 2 years old, but he’s still so small! I think his mama said he’s still wearing size 12-18 months. Isn’t he is the cutest little model?

This photo session has been in the works for a while. I was shopping with my mom last month when I came across this dress, and I just had to have it for this little cutie pie’s photos. We just had to work a few things out before we could make it happen… silly things like me having surgery and her first week of kindergarten.

But it finally happened. We were able to get together one night after dinner. We shot for about 20 minutes as the sun was going down. You know I love the soft, warm light at sunset. And the photos were just what I imagined they would be…

Golden.

This one makes me giggle…
