I had SO MUCH FUN with this family session in their home right before Christmas. The boys were 2.5 years old and 6 months old. We read books, crawled in a teepee, played Peek-a-Boo, and even went outside in the falling snow. This family was a blast, and we wore those boys out! We ended the session with both of them conking out for a nap – the perfect end to a perfect session.

My Claire-Bear is one year old. Here is an excerpt from our baby girl’s first year. There are a lot of pictures, but there are dozens and dozens more that I didn’t post. The first picture in the chair on the left was taken at 10 days old, and the one on the right was taken on her birthday.

How did we get from this…. to that?

Her first steps in October…

These last two were taken on her birthday…

Happy Birth Day to my sweet Claire. I love you, now and always, no matter what.

This beautiful family was so much fun to photograph.  Their little girl came up and offered me her hand as soon as I introduced myself.  She was instantly my friend.  All three kids had the cutest curls, and they all had SO MUCH ENERGY!  I am so happy I got to meet this family.  It was a blast!

These kids just keep growing up, as little ones do. It’s been a year since I photographed this family in 2011, and our fall session this year was a little tougher… We shot this session on November 11th, and I was very, very pregnant with Claire. It was also getting a bit chilly as the sun went down, but the kids were having so much fun being outside, and the light was so beautiful. I just love sunset photo sessions.

I was playing around with my boys today, and I thought these images would look nice as animated GIF’s. It was my first time using Photoshop to “animate.” I think they turned out super cute!
